Some Things Christians Should Remember
In our daily lives, we may struggle to remember that we need to do this or that. We may not remember to go somewhere or call someone. There are some things that a Christian should always remember. We may need to remember that we may be our own worst enemy by opposing ourselves (II Tim.2:25). High temper. Unforgiving. Stubborn. Worldly. Uncontrolled tongue. We should remember to return good for evil (Mt.5:43, 44; Rom.12:20, 21). We should remember to not blindly follow someone (Mt.15:14; Mt.7:13-14).
Jesus is our example (I Cor.11:1). Remember that Satan is always out to get your soul. He tempts (Mt.4:1), lies (Jn.8:44), steals the word (Lk.8:12), persecutes (Rev.2:10), makes himself as an angel of light (I Cor.11:14-15), and seeks to destroy (I Pet.5:8). Remember staying away from services and fellowship with God’s people is dangerous (Mt.24:17; Rev.3:15-16). Remember that we must be Christ-like (Phil.4:13, 1:21).
Are we remembering to be a Christian?
