How To Fight Satan
We need to “watch and pray, that ye enter not into temptation” (Mt.26:41). Follow the example of Jesus and quote Scripture to Satan (Mt.4:1-11).
As Christians, we are to put on the whole armor of God (Eph.6:11). Satan will use his devices against us, such as: Pleasure (Jam.4:4, Lk.8:14), Business (Mt.13:22), Worldly things (I Jn.2:15-17), and Righteousness and religion (II Cor.11:14-15).
Satan blinds the minds of men through various means as: Prejudice (Mt.13:15, Acts 7:57), Party spirit (Acts 13:45-46), Lack of knowledge (Hos.4:6, Jn.8:32), Procrastination (Acts 24:25), and Persecution (Rev.2:9-10; II Tim.3:12).
Satan is always at work against the Christian. James tells us to “Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you” (Jam.4:7-8).
If we keep these things in mind, then we can not only fight, but defeat Satan.
