When we are looking to buying or renting a house or an apartment, we want to know how much room there is. How many bedrooms and baths are there? How big is the kitchen or living room? Is there enough room in which to be comfortable? When looking at the spiritual side of this question, how much room do you have, are we asking ourselves, how much room do we have for Jesus?
At His birth, Christ Jesus was born in a manger, “because there was no room for him in the inn” (Lk.2:7). Do we allow room in our lives for Christ, or is there no room for Him? As Christians, we have our foundation in Christ (Mt.7:24-25). We have strength through Christ (Phil.4:13). We are to conform to Christ’s image (Col.3:9-10). Do we have enough room for Him?
